Development Log #3: Preparing for Testing
As we reach the end of the production milestone for the project, we are glad to inform you all that our game is on the right track to release this December.
We have been making significant progress over the past week in terms of implementing the mechanics of our game and creating the character animations and environment art which means that in-house testing on our game will begin next week to ensure that the game functions as required. Here's a sneak peek of how our gameplay will look like.
Networking on our game has also seen some good progress with the team's gameplay programmer implementing the lobby system for the game's online multiplayer. Players will be able to create a nickname prior to entering a lobby which will be displayed both when they enter a room as well as appear on top of their character during gameplay.
