Development Log #5: Multiplayer Updates and a Surprise!
Sole Slash is almost done with the initial pitch for our game with many of the features currently being tested and is in the process of fixing bugs.
However, we did make one significant change to our game which was the player count, our team felt that bringing the count from six to four as we felt that it would improve the overall experience for players.The biggest update we have is that our multiplayer network for gameplay is working as desired which was a tough process due to fighting games being a difficult genre to effectively bring online but our team was able to pull through.
While we did remove one thing from the game, we did decide to add another in its place and that is a new character. This will be a slower but much stronger character than the original character Orion and due to large support from all of you we have made the decision to give you all the chance to choose his name. Stay tuned to our instagram page to be a part of the competition.
As we come closer to release, we are excited to show you more that's on the horizon!
